 Teddy Bear










This little girl is holding her Teddy Bear.  It is very soft and cuddly. She looks very  cute and happy.

 Teddy Bears were named after the United States  President Theodore Roosevelt. His nickname was Teddy. He enjoyed hunting big animals.

There is a story that President Roosevelt went hunting and  didn't catch any animals. The maids back at the hotel and presented him with a stuffed bear made out of scraps of materials. His daughter named it Teddy.
